Joe The Hedge Fund Manager

Obama hit the trail today to counter the “socialism” tag Joe the Plumber and the McCain campaign have placed on him. Unfortunately its a major gaffe and only Fox seems to care.

Obama told a Richmond crowd that McCain wasn’t fighting for Joe the plumber but Joe the hedge fund manager … but there’s a problem … the hedge funds back Obama. Ooops!

The numbers for Obama:

For The 2008 Election, Barack Obama Is The Number One Recipient Of Money From The Hedge Fund Industry With $1,026,497 In Contributions; John McCain Has Only Received $573,150.

Then this from the NY Times

Mr. Obama’s hedge fund contributors include: John Griffin, the founder of Blue Ridge Capital, who made $625 million in 2007, according to Alpha. Mr. Griffin is backing Mr. Obama after initially supporting Mitt Romney. Kenneth C. Griffin (no relation) of the Citadel Investment Group in Chicago, who earned $1.5 billion. He contributed to the Obama campaign after the senator came to his office last year. Stephen Mandel of Lone Pine Capital, who took home $710 million last year. And, of course, George Soros, who earned almost $3 billion last year.

WTF is this idiot talking about? They both take money from them. Every congressman too. They are all on the take and are all corrupt. The more I learn, the more I hate these people. Anyone that is enthusiastic about either candidate needs 2×4 to the forehead.

I think I'm going to run against Larson as an independent in the next election. These people are literally pieces of dung. Our country is completely screwed if we don't change something. The problem is that the electorate is drunk and fat on debt and consumption. As long as people have enough credit to buy a fancy car and a nice watch they will NEVER clean house with this ultra corrupt leadership.

McCain may admit he is not an expert on economics, but Obama insists on demonstrating his incompetence in the field.

I would vote for you, Erik!
