Will have to start paying attention now. We have a non RINO in the race. Maybe if the non serious people get out of the way we can have a real race. They all need to keep in mind the senate and dumping of Obama. Leave the ego at the door please.

This is so ridiculous!? If Newt is the best the republicans have to offer then Obama wins again and America is doomed.?

The Budget, Entitlement Reform, Immigration, Energy, Foreign Policy, Newt Gingrich mops the floor with Obama.? That said his ego is the size of DC itself.? I have heard him speak on two occasions and read two of his books.? Before you write him off you should read his book “To Save America”?.? Finally, he loves this country and is no rookie.? Hubby just said for me not to forget I heard it? from him.? So Chuck, this is your due.

Newt is a smart guy and has some good ideas. If people are willing to look past the?indescretions in his past then he will be a viable candidate. I would love to see a debate between Newt and the young presidents Totus.

I think newt’s time has passed..I love him but the media will just harp on his past..and give the impression he is from the old guard???Cain/Christy? etc. new blood

He’s got a lot of baggage for the media harp on.

Yesterday HuffPo ran an article complaining about his lack of charitable contributions. To me it read as a lesson about how to be charitable when you compare him to Biden or any number of rich Dems, yet the ignorant slugs on the comment thread still ripped him.?

There are alot of misinformed, useful idiots out there.

The Republicans have so many candidates it’s hard to choose among them. However, I could see a Newt/Condi ticket.

Newt is a lightning rod and will keep the conversation focused on relevant topics.? Whether or not he is viable as a candidate remains to be seen.? I am just going to wait and see.? We have plenty of time.
    ?
Huffpo is complaining about charitable giving by Newt?? LOL!? How about ?bama’s record?? Any notice of that.? The NYTimes summed it up nicely: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/26/us/politics/26taxes.html.
    ?
The ?bamas gave when it was politically expedient, not a second before.

Never happen folks, he is out of the race before it gets started. How’s this for a headline?Climate change ad starring Gingrich and Pelosi ! he’s done period

Newt is without question the best candidate running.? He has the intellect, strategic vision and?experience to lead in these challenging times.???He has the rare ability to distill complex issues to their essence?and articulate?this in simple terms to the American people. He is the only guy out there who actually significantly cut spending and balanced the federal budget.? I find it ironic that many are trying to write him off as old news or too old, when this country is now experiencing the effects of having elected the least qualified, least experienced man ever to hold the presidency. In the words of Ronald Reagan “I will not let my opponent’s youth and inexperience be an issue in this campaign”.

    Sammy, very funny

I am trying to keep an open mind. He is brilliant and has proven himself and any Republican will have baggage to the Press unless they were kept in a closet from their birth. My only problem was when I played the video, I got more interested in trying to find a CD than listening to him. Bad sign

  13. Marilyn on May 13, 2011 at 8:15 am

No matter who get’s the GOP nod, the left will hammer anything but the issues.? Herman Cain has survived two bouts with cancer and his survibality will be there only talking point.? When you can’t argue the facts you attack the messenger personally.

I sure wouldn’t like to be the poor slob that has to debate him.
