It Wasn’t Bush … It’s Just AQ didn’t want to attack

No … really. That wil be the way the left takes President Bush’s greatest acheivement away. He did not keep us safe … nope. Not at all. It’s just AQ has been … well waiting. Another great Hardball moment. The best part comes at the end.

This is true Liberal "speak"! I believe that Bush & his team did help to keep us safer from another attack but…having said that, it will remain to be seen how Obama does with the issue. Hopefully, he continues on the same path that Bush was on.

No question, there have been attacks planned for the U.S. and they have been both intercepted (and stopped) or canceled because Bush and Cheney have insisted on a zero tolerance policy for attacks.  If my memory is correct, with the exception of "war zones", U.S. interests both here and abroad have been kept safe since 9/11.

    I don't believe that is a coincidence.

On January 20th at about noon, a new regime takes over.  Will we still be safe?

President Bush took the chief responsibility of the USA Consitution to defend this country seriously. Thank-you President Bush for your service as President and CIC. President Elect Barak Obama would do best to learn that the first job of this country is to protect its citizens.

Thank You President Bush for keeping my way of life safe. I only hope that Obama will have the same results. Good Luck!

Saying that AQ "just didn't feel like attacking the U.S." flies in the face of logic.  AQ and OBL hate America, but they hate George Bush even more for the slap down he gave them in Afghanistan and to some extent after the fact, Iraq.    They would not miss a chance to strike at him if they could have, and I believe that they tried on numerous occasions, as the president has hinted.

Bush did a fine job in the face of external (AQ) and internal (Democrat) attacks.  I think the president did a fine job defending America against all enemies, foreign or domestic.

I think we are also finding out that Joe McCarthy was a man far ahead of his time.   And why Democrats so virulently attack him, even after he died.
