I’ll take one of these please … Basil Marceaux for Governor

Connecticut is so doggone boring. Tom Foley, boring. Dan Malloy, sooooo predictably left, Oz, playing it safe my man. But here …now here is a candidate for Governor that I can really get my arms around.

For your viewing pleasure on this Friday morning. Basil Marceaux is running for Governor in the Republican primary in Tennessee. He’s for no more gun permits, anyone can carry a gun but … I’ll let him tell you. He’s for planting grass and the pledge of allegiance. Chris Christie … move over. I have a new hero.

Best candidate so far, plain spoken and to the point. I like that he even didn't seem comfortable in front of a camera much less having a sport coat on! I imagine he would look better and more comfortable in bib overalls.

Could we have discovered a "country person?" Not of and by the elite, just a good old fashioned down-home country boy. He reminds me of the quote, "An armed society is a polite society." (Machiavelli?)

Heck, I'll move to Tennessee just to vote for him!

The “experience” and “expertise” of the career politicians just doesn’t work anymore! We need folks like Basil to come in and clean up the state house- drain the swamp, flush the toilets, wipe out the scum…
