I felt a connection
Ummm … OK … if this isn’t comment worthy nothing is. Ashley Dupre, aka Kristin, Elliot Spitzer’s personal call girl, apologizing to Mrs Spitzer on Good Morning America … I felt a connection. I bet.Maybe I am just a bit too cynical.
Dupré’s father left when she was small, and her mother remarried an oral surgeon. When she was 12, her 17-year-old brother ran away and got arrested for dealing drugs. Dupré said she felt lost at that point, and that, as a teenager, she was confused about her relationship with men.”I think by not having my father and my brother around, I really … I felt like I missed something,” she said.

With all due respect to call girls everywhere, she has nothing to apologize for. She didn't cheat, and had no obligation to know of Spritzer's personal life. She conducted a business transaction. Spritzer was the sleazy cheating hypocritical weasel.
What a media. This says more about the interviewer and show's prurient producers than the call girl. Next week on a chic/fluff/news/morning show: "Porn stars explain lighting and camera angles for your Christmas season videos."
If I could swear here on this blog I would be really really funny. But something is lost on the humor when the profanity is absent. So I pass on the jokes.
Obviously Eliot Spitzer is responsible for his own actions. However, if Ashley actually means what she says about being connected to Mrs. Spitzer’s pain, then maybe there’s some hope for her.
Prostitution is a completely different kind of “business transaction” than having your car fixed or buying a loaf of bread. You can call it whatever you want, but cheating is cheating. There is excruciating emotional pain involved for the partner of the cheater. I give Ashley a lot of credit for recognizing that and having the guts to admit her mistakes on national TV.
That Ashley hasn’t accepted any of the lucrative offers generated by this scandal might give her some credibility She’s saying all the right things. I hope her future actions will back up her words.
This is like watching- one that flew over the coo's nest…. SHE"S A WHORE !..,WHO IS CAPITALIZING ON HER ADULTEROUS DOINGS and wicked vices.
Repent, God loves you and will forgive you. Please don't play the victim! …..Mama-mia…
