Hey … you did such a good job with clunkers, why not healhcare?

Jim DeMint nailed the inefficiencies of Government when it tries to run anything. Exhibit A … cash for clunkers. The “Cash For Clunker” program as Steve points out here, was designed to last through the fall and instead went bust in 8 days. Now they need more cash.

What are the odds they are pricing health care correctly at $1 trillion dollars, when they can’t even price a used car. Says Senator DeMint … none.

It’s about time the Republican plan get some air time … DeMint’s plan is a good one and deserves a hearing. What’s more, it won’t bankrupt the country and leaves health care in our hands. And the key … real competition.

    I read that the money was exausted because the program was a good deal for the buyer and the car dealer. A success is now a failure, even for Ford? Have I listened to a different set of news?
