Helen Thomas: The rehabilitation tour. “I’m not anti-semitic”

Well, I just thought this would be a nice diversion in the midst of “job killing” health care bills, and in the spirit of the new civil discourse thread running through Washington these days. It just seemed to me to be the perfect time to post something that has nothing to do with nothing. CNN giving Helen Thomas the chance to walk back her comments from last year. Oh wait, she doesn’t.

I think most of you remember the now famous spontaneous interview Helen gave to a Rabbi in June of last year, but just to refresh your memory.

Helen days later, lost her job and her front row seat in the WH Press room. Now writing for a small Falls Church newspaper got the chance last night to walk it all back her comments on CNN. Unbelievably, she did not. But did proclaim that she was not anti-Semitic. Hey, who am I to say what’s in her heart.

Hey, she’s an old lady. On the other hand what if she were a conservative?  Just asking.

UPDATE: I forgot to add, Helen has reapplied for a WH Press Pass. Does she get one?

I truly believe we have to support Israel, they are our one ally, surrounded by nations whose only goal is to kill them. I know you wanted this to be light, but after I listened to the video above, I also listened to "Helen Thomas on her one question for Obama" Youtube video. Helen Thomas asked him, "What nations have nuclear weapons in the Middle East?" He said among other things, "I don't want to speculate". The interviewer was treating Helen like she was senile, until she said, No, he did not answer my question, but even more important he is the President and should not be speculating, he should know….

While I disagree with her position on the Palestinians, I will defend her right to question the policy and certainly, she had an extremely valid point. But as usual, the Obama "regime" destroyed her. Sorry, Jim, I'm obsessive, compulsive about Obama.

Who cares what Helen Thomas says? End the occupation of Constantinople and return the Hagia Sophia to its former glory!

At best I pity her. Mostly I just laugh. She is one of the original slavering progressives. Someone fetch her a drool cup.

They truly despise Israel because they won't believe in the Religion of Hate n' Death's jihad against us. What annoys them? Israel became a religious state (like ours used to be) rather than a socialist communal one. Defacto, everything the Israeli state does (like us) must then be designed to exploit and enslave the poor defenseless swarthy peoples around them, because no white, euro-centric could possibly understand that their victimhood has directly led them to act out and exhibit the poor behavior they are now being unfairly chastised for.

    Idiots.
