The lead article in Thursday’s Boston Globe should be required reading for our president, and all those in Congress who are still pushing for Obama’s health care legislation. The Massachusetts health care law, upon which Obamacare is based, is falling apart at the seams.
This is dangerous ground, and not unexpected. The Obama administration continues their assault on insurers by demanding Anthem Blue Cross in California justify a proposed 39 percent rate increase by customers. Certainly, this is a huge premium increase, but why the jump?
Even though plans to ensure Nebraska residents would get $300 billion in federal health care kickbacks will not survive the next version of the Democrat’s health care legislation, plenty “carve-outs” providing billions to other states – not specifically named – will survive.
