Hartford public schools welcome ACORN

In this today’s Hartford Courant, we learn about the ACORN’s visit Hartford Public. ACORN – the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – has been caught up in a bunch of voter registration scandals around the country and is as liberal as you can get.

The money line from the Courant’s article? Keep reading to find out.

Malkin has the report from two visits to local public high schools in Hartford and Durham, and the topic was briefly discussed on Sound Off Connecticut with Jim Vicevich during the 11 a.m. ET hour.

Left-wing, taxpayer-subsidized ACORN fraudsters have been infiltrating the public schools.

Watch out: Your kid could be recruited to help assist and “organize” the “community” of homeless people, criminals, and illegal aliens signing up more dead people and fake people to vote for Obama.

Recruitment is just the beginning, and then you have to indoctrinate and brainwash the young skulls of mush.

Here’s the money line from the Courant’s article.

Obama’s biography also appealed to Jeinny Campo, 15. “He chased his dream, he got what he wanted, now he’s working for it,” she said.

Campo, a junior who wants to be a police officer, said she’s especially concerned about taxes and oil prices; her parents don’t have much money and should get a tax cut, she said.

“I wish I was old enough to vote,” she said during the assembly. “I’d vote like a thousand times for Barack.”

Yup. ACORN is just the organization to help you vote – like – a thousand times for Obama.

You can listen to Sound Off Connecticut – a local conservative talk show on WTIC 1080 in Hartford – online from 10 a.m. to noon ET Monday through Friday. There’s occasionally a video feed and you can join the online chat too.

Hello from Fort Smith Arkansas, the current immigrant capital of the nation.

It may be of interest that there are people going around here registering people to vote who are NOT U.S. Citizens. AND, they're telling them to vote for Barak Hussein Obama.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Don't  you have to be a U.S. Citizen to vote?

They're registering both legal "green card" holders and illegals.

I have a friend in Oklahoma who told me they're doing this outside the Tyson factory in Heavener, OK also and reportedly telling them that only Obama will ever let them stay here.

@Ansersen: Yup. You need to be a US citizen to vote, it's illegal to register in multiple locations, felons can not vote and you need to be "not-dead" to vote. All of which ACORN seems to specialize in. Can you provide links to any stories about ACORN methods in Fort Smith and your friend in Oklahoma?

This should come as no surprise.  Two of the newest city council members are affiliated with the WFP-Working Families Party.  A subsidiary of ACORN.  This is a RADICAL LEFTIST SUBVERSIVE ORGANIZATION.

After voting in an ordinance that made Hartford a sancuary city, "Councilperson" (as he describes himself) Cotto, of the Working Families Party, described illegal aliens living in Hartford as, "law abiding citizens."

Hartford has officially become a third world nation.

Currently composed of some 30,000 members, the Working Families Party (WFP) is a front group for ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). WFP functions as a political party in New York State and Connecticut, promoting ACORN-friendly candidates.

"The [Working Families Party] was created in 1998 to help push the Democratic Party toward the left," noted the Associated Press in 2000. In pursuit of this goal, WFP runs radical candidates in state and local elections. Generally, WFP candidates conceal their extremism beneath a veneer of populist rhetoric, promoting bread-and-butter issues designed to appeal to union workers and other blue-collar voters, Republican and Democrat alike.

"Candidates know that when they're on our line, they're committed to certain things," explains Bertha Lewis, who moonlights as WFP co-chair and New York ACORN Executive Director.

…the party's debut convention, held March 26-27, 2000 at the Desmond Hotel in Albany — an event which the Communist newspaper People's Weekly World approvingly called "a turning point in New York politics."

In the 2004 election cycle, a new force entered New York politics: billionaire financier George Soros. The Soros-funded Drug Policy Alliance — a drug legalization lobby through which Soros often funnels political contributions — gave $81,500 to the Albany County District Attorney campaign of Democrat David Soares. Instead of donating the money directly, however, the Drug Policy Alliance laundered Soros' contribution through the Working Families Party — an illegal act according to New York State law.

WFP expanded into Connecticut in 2004, and promised that it would soon be active in all ten states where "fusion voting" — that is, cross-endorsement of candidates by multiple parties — is still legal. Those states include Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Mississippi, New York, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and Vermont.

ACORN is the largest radical group in America, with 175,000 dues-paying member families, and more than 850 chapters in 70 US cities

Implicated in numerous reports of fraudulent voter registration, vote-rigging, voter intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams during the 2004 election

ACORN co-founder Wade Rathke enlisted civil rights workers and trained them in a program (at Syracuse University) patterned after Saul Alinsky's activist tactics.

In 1998, ACORN founded the Working Families Party in New York, which endorses candidates for political office. It endorsed Hillary Clinton in her 2000 Senate race. Canvassers from ACORN and its sister groups launched a statewide voter-mobilization drive that proved influential in Clinton's victory.

ACORN is an appropriate name for Liberal NUTS
(Not Up To Standards).  And their tactics are squirrelly like rats and they should be exposed and treated accordingly.
