Government computers used to research Joe the plumber
Checking my RSS feed this morning I find this post from Little Green Footballs. This seems like standard operating procedure in many political campaigns these days. Remember when two members of Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) staff got Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele’s credit report illegally in the summer of 2005?
Now we’ve got reports of questionable access to Joe Wurzelbacher’s (Joe the Plumber’s) private information, including driver’s license and vehicle information.

Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher’s driver’s license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate.
Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department. …
Records show it was a “test account” assigned to the information technology section of the attorney general’s office, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Thomas Hunter.
Brindisi later said investigators have confirmed that Wurzelbacher’s information was not accessed within the attorney general’s office. She declined to provide details. The office’s test accounts are shared with and used by other law enforcement-related agencies, she said.
Why is this information available via test accounts?

- Katie Barge, the other staffer involved, was not charged but she did resign. Previous to her position as research director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, she was the research directory for – get this – Media Matters for America. Media Matters was started by David Brock, and supported by Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).
They all hang out at the same places, go to the same parties and seem to get shuffled from liberal job to job.

I suggest that Joe get all of his tax forms in order if an Obama regime comes into power. They won't forget, and plan to use him as an object lesson.
