No lipstick here … mud maybe. Carol Fowler … Dem Party Chairwoman of South Carolina. The Politico got this started. Lord help us … Sarah has driven the Democrats just looney.

South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler reportedly lashed out at Sarah Palin Wednesday, saying the Republican vice presidential candidate’s “primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”

The Democratic Party has gone around the bend. Here is Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee on the floor of the House today. Barack Obama is Jesus, and Sarah Palin is Pontius Pilate:

Update: She has since apologized … sort of. Doggoneit I hate these kind of apologies:

“I personally admire and respect the difficult choices that women make everyday, and I apologize to anyone who finds my comment offensive,” Fowler said in a statement.

Oh brother. Translation: I am sorry except I am not sure what I am sorry for.
