Fort Hood: Prepare to be infuriated
Our good friend Andy McCarthy reveals the shenanigans at Fort Hood continue in the name of what, political correctness, sensitivity? Just weeks after an Islamic terrorist guns down 13 people, 12 soldiers, it’s the US Army that’s getting the lecture on political correctness?
It’s been brought to my attention by several reliable sources that the Defense Department has brought Louay Safi to Fort Hood as an instructor, and that he has been lecturing on Islam to our troops in Fort Hood who are about to deploy to Afghanistan. Safi is a top official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and served as research director at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).
Worse, last evening, Safi was apparently permitted to present a check (evidently on behalf of ISNA) to the families of the victims of last month’s Fort Hood massacre. A military source told the blogger Barbarossa at the Jawa Report: “This is nothing short of blood money. This is criminal and the Ft. Hood base commander should be fired right now.”

The families deserve a check even more than the vicitms of 911 because this massacre was caused by a gross negligance of command . What the troops need most is justice , not lectures from the IIIT on how peaceful is the true way of Islam. Justice is the swift and severe punishment of commanders who transferred a proven deficient problem doctor from Walter Reed to Ft Hood. Punishment for the poor judgement to promote a terrorist spy to higher rank. Justice properly honors the dead at Ft. Hood as victims of a terrorist attack enabled by a cowardly policy of political correctness. Showing more political correctness in response to Ft Hood is a show of cowardice most undignified of men in uniform . The flag stands for bravery, and how these commanders can raise their arm in salute of our flag proves they have no shame.
Let me be clear the families deserve a check but not from the muslim brotherhood. Pay them out of the stimulous funds.
I wonder if they will invite a person with a counter position to the pro Islam speakers. Maybe Michael Savage……?
