Flag Yourself
The folks at PJTV have started a movement … get as many people as you know to flag themselves … not that the White House is looking for anyone to turn in their friends or anything. Just … well … it’s the American way. Freedom of speech. And we might as well save them the trouble of looking for us. Watch the featured video on the right for more inspiration, and make sure you go to Michelle’s site and Hot Air for more. As usual Allah has a unique take.
What right-wing blog reader worth his salt hasn’t already flagged himself silly?
In the meantime, we now may have a good idea what the White House wanted with those e-mail addresses your liberal friends were so kind to turn in. It just may be they were keeping them to … spam you. This exchange between WHPS Robert Gibbs and Fox’s Major Garrett is priceless. Game on!

Update: Steve informed me he too has received the Axelrod e-mail but didn’t say if it came because he had flagged the WH.
Meanwhile Hot Air thinks it has it figured out … it’s coming from the White House contact page … which says the following:
We collect Personal Information from eligible individuals who affirmatively request to receive e-mail or other services from us. We collect this Personal Information in order to provide these eligible individuals with timely information via e-mail regarding events, resources and issues.
It is our general policy not to make Personal Information available to anyone other than our employees, staff, and agents.
Doesn’t make much sense to me because people are saying they have not requested these e-mails and I doubt Steve has. There is more to this and I am not so quick to write it off as the “Contact page”.
I don't think Major was asking if Peter Parker specifically was on the e-mail list. Just if someone in general could be on the list. How hard is that to understand?
Why is it that I feel that this program is a manifestation of that infamous picture of Weatherman terrorist and Obama supporter Bill Ayers trampling the flag in an alley.
"Baghdad" Bob Gibbs sounded pretty silly saying he was going to check the names of Garrett's sources against a list that, according to Gibbs, doesn't exist.
Maybe he should check the list of those fictitious names of Obama's foreign campaign donors….
Kudos to Major Garrett for being an actual journalist, rather than a note taker.
