FBI raids office of Obama appointee

It seems that the Obama appointee for the office of Chief Technical Officer (I think he is the first ever federal CTO) Vivek Kundra had his office searched this morning in connection with a bribery investigation. Full story here.

Federal agents this morning are searching the office Washington, D.C.’s Chief Technology Officer.

And the beat goes on. Tax cheats, conflicts of interest,  and now the President’s pick to run the technology office being investigated for corruption. I guess they do politics in D.C. the same way they do politics in Chicago.

I am predicting the Obama response, “He had no knowledge of any wrong doing, he is uniquely qualified and deserves a chance.”

Update: Before I could get this post approved this article was posted by MSNBC.

The FBI vetted his White House appointment. If he had been thought to be involved in any corruption at that point, it would have been flagged, one official says. But, the official cautions, who knows where the investigation will go from here?

How good can their vetting process be? It seems like every other appointee has some scandal!

That's great news.  I was beginning to think that the only Obot administration appointees had to be a tax cheats.  Nice to see that the Admin is inclusive of a more diverse group of the criminal element.

Wow- anyone see the wall to wall coverage of this on the MSM? Why don't they leave it alone like they would have if it were a Bush appointee???

Wow- I wrote that whole sentence without falling out of my chair laughing.
