Drudge asking if Brown will run for president (Update)

Why is he asking the question? I don’t think the Republican party is actively out there looking for candidates, and I have not even considered if Senator-elect Scott Brown would be qualified for the position.

The link Drudge provides does not even go to an article suggesting someone is wondering if Brown will run. Strange.

Ed Morrissey has been thinking the same thing I’m thinking…

The wildest of these fantasies, and surely not one meant terribly seriously, promotes Scott Brown as a candidate for the Republican nomination for President in 2012.  Brown is a formidable presence, as Martha Coakley and the Democrats discovered too late, but do we really need another former state Senator with next to no experience in national politics on a major-party ticket?  Brown has a good sense of fiscal conservatism, but falls closer to Rudy Giuliani than to Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin on social issues, which is one of the reasons Rudy got an invite to Massachusetts and prominent social conservatives did not.

Hey!  He already has more useful experience than Obambi!  At least he has his head firmly on his shoulders rather than buried deep in some bodily orifice.

Steve, with that posting by Drudge, it took me by suprise such a question was asked. But then again Senator-Elect Brown has more leadership skills then a number of politicos in Washington D.C. Even the posting of this article on Free Republic got responses.

Scott Brown is a man of destiny. I said some time ago  you have entered the Twilight Zone in which a divine intervention will occur. Part of my reasoning of this statement is Scott Brown's yearbook picture…. .http://peoplemagazinedaily.com/?p=4349….Some people  make a special statement about themselves and their future in planning a yearbook image. I do not know exactly what Scott was thinking by this shadowy picture of him holding 3 ropes with nooses, but it struck me as a prophetic spirit photograph.  This is a man who will Hang 3 prominant democrats in his lifetime, like the twelve labors of Herculese. This is a man who was found  by the immortal spirit of  Ronald Reagan long before any of us knew him. Ron  knows we won one for the Gipper  and he  is very happy. Give thanks to God, and the best way to celebrate is  feeding  the hungry in Haiti.
