Doubling Down on Stupid

In times of recession and economic stress, one approach to addressing said stress would be to relax those regulations that impede or hinder economic growth.

You’d think the President, or at least his advisors, would know this, right?

WRONG!

“President Obama told Speaker John A. Boehner in a letter Tuesday that his administration is considering seven regulations that would cost the U.S. economy more than $1 billion per year, although he added that these rules are “merely proposed.”

All told, the seven proposed rules cited by Mr. Obama would cost companies at least $38 billion per year and could cost as much as $100 billion annually.

“Before finalizing any of them, we will take account of public comments and concerns and give careful consideration to cost-saving possibilities and alternatives,” Mr. Obama wrote to the Ohio Republican.”

One wonders if he will listen as closely as he did during the Obamacare process…

With the size of President Obama’s ears, you would think that he would listen. However, I believe his ears are like an appendix, through elitist evolution, they have been rendered useless.

I voted for this guy in ’08? I didn’t see the signpost up ahead, Rod.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have/had a problem. A little knowledge goes a long way!

Between excessive taxes and unnecessary regulation, ?bama is giving an already weak economy a “one-two punch” to make sure it stays on the mat.

Ever get the feeling the fix was in?

Why is it that every time Obama opens his mouth it is to propose spending more (of our) money and, with every speech the stock market dives lower?

    Stupid is as stupid does!

    It’s the economy!?
    It’s the economy!
    It’s the economy
Are we (those on the Right) the only ones who care?
Get the government (excessive taxes and regulations) out of the way and let the economy begin to heal itself. Otherwise, it’s a T.K.O.
    Lynn is right . . .

“…he added that these rules are ?merely proposed.?

In other words, a trial balloon to see what they could get away with.? Closely related to out an out lying.
