Don’t Mess With O

Jim Geraghty over at National Review thinks the enemies list is growing longer … and landing on that list ain’t pretty. But how do you bash a magazine?

It goes like strangely methodical clockwork. Guys like Rick Santelli — never particularly political, mostly economics guys — criticize policies of the Obama administration, and they suddenly become targets of ridicule in places like The Daily Show and The Huffington Post. Jim Cramer will be seeing more of this.

The Economist will be next, I suspect:

Make sure you read the post. The Economist supported Obama … now … not so much.

Or Jim … or me … or ….

This sounds strangely reminiscent of the way radical Muslims feel about infidels: you believe or you don't believe.  Period.  And then show no mercy to perceived infidels.

    Signed,

    A proud infidel.

    Dims,

You never dissapoint, although wouldn't you say they are more like Nazis.

You forget: it is the Republicans that are the Nazis.  The Dems tell us so!

Obama has gone beyond the cultist image Hitler portrayed: he wants to be our saviour, or messiah, our one, our all.

Can  you taste the bile too?

why so scared of the fairness doctrine?

    unless your scared of debate.

Oh come on, you KNOW the Fairness Doctrine has nothing to do with ensuring debate. Obama and Gore are the ones afraid of debate this week – flat out ask them to debate and they say no.

Democrats are deathly afraid of criticism, because their arguments are hollow, descend quickly into ad hominem attacks, then are seen for the falderal that they truly are.

They much prefer the Goebbels approach: repeat a lie over and over until it is perceived as the truth.  And the media are their willing accomplices in this.
