Dodd Update: Hey … what about those loan papers?

The Connecticut Post wonders what we’ve been wondering for months. Where are those Chris Dodd (D, Countywide) loan papers he promised. My suggestion … don’t hold your breath. Isn’t it time that U.S. Sen. Christopher J. Dodd came clean and released documents on two mortgages hew received from Countrywide Financial Corp. that has already sparked a Senate ethics inquiry? Following a meeting in Westport on Monday with Fairfield County labor leaders, Connecticut’s senior senator once again hedged on saying when he would release the documents. Dodd continues to say the information will be forthcoming but he refuses to say when.

From the CT Post. Oh please! (H/T Instapundit)

Dodd is following the corrupt politician's creed (a la Howie Carr): "Never complain, never explain."

Dodd knows public memory is short, and with a Democrat administration he can ride it out with no threat of prosecution from a Obama "Justice" department.

    Is anyone really surprised?

There will be ZERO consequences, and there will be no "remember in November" when he gets re-elected.

We get the government we deserve.

The GOP needs to step up and get a viable candidate to run against this guy. Even Shays would be better than Dodd.

On Monday you gave a lot of good stuff re how the Clinton administration goofed and how the mainstream media blames everything that goes wrong on President Bush. I would like a printout of this information to "share" with my lib friends. Is this available. By the way, Ray makes a rather good second man on your morning program.
