Dodd As Victim

Well why not. Everyone’s a victim these days of something.

Attorney General Dick Blumenthal (D, because we name that party), who’s office is investigating Countrywide’s dealings in Connecticut, addresses the Chris Dodd (D) Countrywide loan scandal on Hartford TV Channel 3, WFSB, Sunday morning. Anchor Dennis House asks the AG (D) how Dodd (D), chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, could get into this mortgage fix. Blumenthal compares him to the other Countrywide “victims”. Oh brother.

Oh and make sure to listen to House’s follow up question. In a nutshell, what if Countrywide treated you the way Dodd (D) has been treating the voters? Amen and amen.

We’re the government … we don’t ask. Of course not. We’re just the people who put your there.

To which political party does the Attorney General belong?

Of course, Chris Dodd has done nothing wrong, and even if he did, he apologized.  If only we could all get a free pass with an apology for our wrongs or mistakes.  Again, far too many Democrats are getting a pass these days.  Don't we just feel such empathy for them?  I know, we just need more forgiveness in this day and age.

The difference Dick, is that countrywide screwed those people. Dodd took a kickback. You don't understand the difference?

Oh, I am sure that if Dodd were a Republican, Dickie would know the difference.

The cronyism was palpable in that interview, culminating in Dickie assuring us that Dodd will win reelection.  Now that's an Attorney General you can count on (to protect the Democrat party).

Is Dickie still getting those chauferred rides in the company car using company gas from his mansion in Fairfield?

When you consider the petty crap that Dick B goes after with an evangelical zeal this interview REALLY looks pathetic.

Will CT voters do the right thing and oust both of these self-serving career leeches at the next opportunity?

Either one could be caught on the 6:00 news fornicating with an underaged goat on the capitol steps at high noon and our fellow Connecticutlets would vote them back in.

It’s a universally accepted truth: Democrats cannot do?and are incapable of any wrongdoing.
The(D) says it all. Both out next election.
