Disney Marathon 2011 UPDATE: The finish

This is the real deal gang. SO Son in Law went through the half way mark at 2:15. SO Daughter at 10 mile at 2:33. Some pics for your all.

This is the SOD at the 10 mile mark.

And here we are half way:

UPDATE: Got so wrapped up in the finish, and of course the news later that I forgot to update the post. Both kids finished the marathon in personal bests. Steve finished with a sub 10 minute pace and Jen finished 16 minutes ahead of last year’s race. Together they ran 39.3 miles in less than 24 hours.

The half marathon is called the “Donald” and the full is called the “Mickey”. The combo is called the Goofy. I am sure you can understand why.
