Dallas police drop domestic violence charges against 40 illegal aliens

For domestic violence cases in Texas, the victim is not required to press charges simply because they may be too afraid to do so. If the police department has the evidence, they can hold the accused and refer charges to the district attorney. In Dallas, a WFAA investigation reveals 40 cases involving illegal aliens were not passed on, they just deported the accused felons back home.

Not only are they illegal aliens, they seem to be fans of domestic abuse and are probably comfortable they can get away with terrorizing people. From WFAA News 8 in Dallas.

A News 8 investigation found the Dallas Police Department has dropped charges in more than 40 family violence cases this year where the suspect was an illegal immigrant.

At least eight were serious felony cases where the victims were held at knife-point.

Instead of going on trial, the suspects were released from jail and deported.

Of course, we all know they are back in the United States within a month, living with – and continuing to abuse – their family members.

Judicial Watch wonders if Dallas police still remember the murder of Officer Brian Jackson, who was shot and killed by an illegal alien who was released from custody after threatening to kill his wife with a knife in 2005.

Illegals who come here and commit crimes and escape punishment through deportation will be back. And they'll commit another crime because they got away with it previously.  Instead of rewarding illegals (Dream Act?) we should be prosecuting them for breaking our immigration laws before they hold a knife to their family members' throats.

Back to basics, time for each of us to answer the following question: Who is responsible for MY life ?  And to that I add liberty and persuit of happiness.

Answer:  ME !   Not the police, the Gov't, yada, yada.

There is also the addage, "If you want the job done right, do it yourself."
