Change Dot Gov

Saw this on CNN … and thought to myself … “what?’. So then I just figured anyone can get a dot gov web address like dot com or dot org. Ed Morrissey points out, how wrong I was. My question is … how did these folks get a dot gov … and like Ed Morrissey, why are they soliciting names addresses and e-mails on line for job applicants? What?
