Business leaders should help find solutions … or face a revolt.
Now that’s the Rahm Emanuel I’ve been expecting. Via Hotair … Rahm Emanuel spoke to the Wall Street Journal CEO Council … and he let em have it. My favorite line, other than the one above:
He stressed that the new administration would “throw long and deep,” taking advantage of the economic crisis to push wholesale changes in health care, taxes, financial re-regulation and energy. “The American people in two successive elections have voted for change, and change cannot be allowed to die on the doorsteps of Washington,” Mr. Emanuel said.
I don’t know why, but I am pretty sure this will be Washington dictating the way business will be run … and likely how consumers will consume. Not exactly bottom up … more like top down. Prepare the way of the Messiah.
