“Big Sis” departs

We learned today that Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is leaving her job with this administration.  She will now be the new president of the California University system.

Napolitano had given no indication publicly that she would leave, although she was seen as a possible successor to Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. should he depart. Administration officials said Napolitano, who had extensive law enforcement experience in Arizona, did not hide her desire to be attorney general and grew discouraged about her prospects as Holder stayed well into Obama’s second term.

This, of course, prompts some questions.

Did Ms. Napolitano think Mr. Holder would be canned by the President…see: the New Black Panthers, Fast and Furious, or the IRS scandal investigation (or, more to the point, lack of investigation)?

Or, who would you rather have running the Department of Justice, Mr. Holder or Ms. Napolitano?

And finally, what will happen to the university system in California under her guidance?

    Amazing.? I wonder what her real academic qualifications are?? Considering her track record at DHS, I guess the standards in CA are quite low.? This is nothing but a political payoff, par for the course for this regime.

      Ah: J.D., attorney for Anita Hill, Bill Clinton appointee.? Say no more.

      Qualifications? A lifelong democrat who drank the kool-aid and is totally in the tank for Obama. Delusional.
      Perhaps she can make a difference in the California educational system at a paltry salary of $600,000. Who can possibly live on that?

    http://www.allgov.com/officials/napolitano-janet?officialid=28847? Curiosity made me look up Janet’s biography. As Dims said she ?was on Anita Hill’s legal team. She never answered questions about her handling of a witness, where it is alleged the witness changed her testimony because of Janet’s advice. But, Ms. Napolitano is a mass of contradictions, her handling of security issues in Arizona and her friendship with Sheriff Arpaio are interesting. Under normal conditions, I would never consider her a good choice for ?AG. However, in this administration, there never will be justice in the DOJ. ?AG Holder is morally and ethically corrupt in every part of his soul, between ?these two flawed beings, I choose Janet with deep regret for the farce that is the Obama Administration.

    Summation, between JN and AG EH, “What difference at the point does it make?”. Pity me, I’ve now morphed into Hillary.

    Answers to the three q’s:
    1. She appears to have been kept as a hot-site failover;
    2. Tough one…Holder is in with BarryO to his eyeballs and as a self proclaimed black intellectual, dangerous.? Sis is not a rocket scientist but a true believer and faithful soldier for anything she’s told.? I’ll take the DoDo for $1,000, Alex.
    3. As large a putz as she’s demonstrated herself to be, I can’t believe the CA uni system CAN look any more liberal – regardless of who they choose to pay $600k/year to be figurehead.
