Arizona immigration law…Obama will simply ignore it

Yesterday, John Morton, the Director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) dropped a bomb as to Obama’s plans with respect to Arizona’s new immigration law.  You remember, that’s the law that everyone in the administration is blasting, but, the law that no one in the administration will admit to have read.  More on this point later.

But first, a bit of background is necessary.  When an illegal immigrant is arrested by any law enforcement jurisdiction in this country, the federal government, i.e. ICE is notified.  ICE is then supposed to “process them”, by taking them into custody and starting deportation proceedings.

Well, Mr. Morton has announced that ICE may not process illegals referred to it by Arizona.

Typically, when one is aggrieved by a law in this country, the aggrieved party goes to court to determine the validity of that law.  Sadly, this bunch believes they can follow different rules.  Unlike you and I, if they don’t like a law, they simply ignore it.

Back to the beginning…many in this administration, most notably, Attorney General Holder, and Director of Homeland Security Napolitano have testified before Congress that they haven’t read the “voluminous” 16 page Arizona law.  That, of course, makes them look stupid.

Let me leave you with this thought.  They have all read the law.  Answering questions about their statements about the law, after admitting that they have read it, would make them look even more stupid. Assuming, of course, that is possible.

    Maybe we should just ignore all the civil rights of detained illegal aliens here when we round them up. Things like food, water, medicine, an attorney, sanitary conditions, the right to life.

    After all , if the federal government is going to ignore the fact that we have them, we can really do just whatever the hell we want to them, right?

    Slave labor, medical testing, chemical and nuclear exposure testing… who's going to miss them? Certainly not Barack or Eric or Janet or anyone in L.A., Boston or Chicago.

    Why does none of this surprise me?  The only thing that changes is the degree of nausea I feel after each idiot working under Obama opens his mouth making yet one more statement about Arizona's immigration law.

    We edge closer and closer to true socialism (or is it communism?) when the rights of individual states to make law are not supported, or are flat out ignored, by the federal government.

    I couldn't stop laughing after reading this. Are these people kidding? I wouldn't be surprised if video surfaces by November of someone in this administration pouting and holding their breath with their arms crossed while stomping their feet.

    Let me also add:

    Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution:

    The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.

    Let me also add the Oath of the President of the U.S.A:

    "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

    So tell me, what am I missing here?

    Morton, and by extension, Øbama, have "deemed" the law to be unacceptable.

    Øbama: the "great constitutional scholar".  (insert howls of derisive laughter here)

     

    Does anyone still wonder why Øbama hides his college transcripts?  I am of the opinion that all of his degrees and diplomas were honorary (or affirmative action based, which is the same thing), not just the (Ig)Nobel Peace prize and the presidency.
