Ann Coulter: If Christy doesn’t run he’s a jerk. Matthews: Republican field of dog pound

it’s a “twofer” my little mobsters. Ann has never been one to mince words, which is why we love her so much. The simple fact is she could very well be right.  Chris Matthews on the other hand is squealing with delight. Video below the fold.

Ann Coulter appeared last night with Sean Hannity mostly to talk about Donald Trump and his chances in the presidential sweepstakes. Coulter doesn’t think much of Trump, nor does she think much of the rest of the presidential field. And that includes Obama. My guess is she feels pretty much the same way most of you do to, my little mobsters. But isn’t it a little harsh to label Gov. Chris Christy a jerk if he decides not to run? Or if the nation is really at stake, is she right on the money?

So if Christi doesn’t run groovy you think the best choices? Romney? Pawlenty? Paul Ryan perhaps? Go ahead take the poll and let me know.

Oh, and here’s some juicy red meat for you righties. Chris Matthews calls the Republican field a dog pound and worse.

Game on.

UPDATE: The Matthews video has been updated. Sorry for the confusion.

Matthews knows about dog pounds – he is a dog. How about a Trump and Coulter ticket?

The Republican field is a "dog pound"???

Well, at least we know the pedigree of our candidates, i.e. I am sure they each can produce real birth certificates and college transcripts.  And say the word "corps" correctly….

There are a few good candidates, Christie, Rubio, Ryan and Palin. We do not need anyone from the old guard (Romney, Gingrich). If the Republicans allow the machine to get Romney or Gingrich nominated, they / we are doomed.

I am so tired of the "let's make a deal" Republicans.

This next election will be a make or break election on the future of this country.

How about Mitch Daniels, Gary Johnson, Jon Huntsman, Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Rudy Guliani, Michele Bachmann…?

The election is 19 months away…the field hasn't even formed, yet!

Best case is that an endless list splits the delegates and Ryan/Christie/Rubio get drafted.

Worst case is that the more qualified candidates don't get the $s, exposure, or 10% of the delegates and the nominee comes from the traditional warmed over list.

I think Matthews was asking the wrong question.  He phrased it as would these people make good presidents.  He should have asked, "Would you vote for Obama over any of these people?"  That wil be the question we will ask at the ballot box.

    NO, NO, NO!

The list of candidates proves that there are many repulicans who are more than qualified to replace Obama!!!  Anyone of them will better protect our borders, help encourage jobs, return the respect for our country throughout the world, protect our econlmy, help our country survive the ills of Obama and Soros and the rest.

We have such a wealth of better candidates than Obama that it is hard to decide on one.

also – remember Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.  We are doing the Dems job for them by joining them in denegrading our list of candidates – proving that Obama is the One to be re-elected.  NO, NO, NO!!!!

First of all Annie, the Presidency is about as high pressure job as you can get. Yes, there are great perks of which our currant President takes full advantage. But Chris Christie can only do a job to the best of his ability, not halfway.  He has said he loves his family and wants to spend time at home with them while they are young. Chris Christie is honest, he doesn't play games.  Why can't you believe him instead of insulting him. Annie you aren't funny anymore you have become Virginia Woolf.

I have thought long and hard about the presidency (the job not the cult).  Part of me feels that the best candidates will never run as the job is truly horrific in the time, money and personal (and family) toll it takes on the eventual winner. All to get into a position where the arrows are thick indeed. It favors the narcissists and party hacks. It takes a special person to be a good president, and only looking back a substantial distance in hostory can we see what the qualites were that made those great presidents. The other part of me believes, maybe naively, that a person still exists that has the qualities to think rationally, govern fairly, and unite our country and make us strong again.

Coulter is a self proclaimed polemicist, and a  political-swinger who's dated Bill Maher- among others…  I could forgive dating lefties like Natalie Portman & Marisa Tomei, but Bill Maher has got to be the equivalent of dating Michael Moore's annoying little sister!

Does anybody really pay attention to Matthews anymore. He's so marginalized himself with his lack of objectivity. Is there any wonder why his audience has all but evaporated? I think not.

Since None-of-the-Above gets more votes than Sarah, I'd say the Republicans have a "problem".

Yes and the Democrats are stuck with Obama, unless they throw him under the bus and run Hillary. Can you say NOW

Ann Coulter
