Anit-war activist Sheehan on the Vineyard – where’s the press?

At least Cindy Sheehan is consistent and holding true to her core beliefs. She’s an anti-war activist who received plenty of coverage during the Bush 43 administration’s prosecution of the Iraq war. Sheehan plans to travel offshore to the Vineyard to protest Obama’s continuation of efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

From WBZ in Boston.

Anti-war protestor [sic] Cindy Sheehan is traveling to Martha’s Vineyard to demonstrate as President Barack Obama and his family vacation on the island.

According to her website, Sheehan will join “other like-minded peace activists” to bring her cause to the attention of the President.

The President and his family are scheduled to arrive Sunday at the Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark.

Sheehan lost her son in the Iraq War in 2004. Since then, she has embarked upon a high-profile anti-war crusade, including instances where she famously heckled former President George W. Bush while he vacationed at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.

Sheehan wrote on her blog, “The new titular head of the empire needs to know that his policies are devastating people as much as the same policies did when Bush was president.”

There are no details at this point on where Sheehan will stay or when she will arrive on the island.

I can not find confirmation anywhere in the media that Sheehan is now on the island, circling the Vineyard in the SS Camp Casey, or has had to cancel her plans.

Maybe that’s the point.

You can bet you sweet bippy that if she were still outside Bush's home in Crawford, they would be there.  It is just more damning evidence of their wholesale sellout to the Social Democrat party.

Democrats treat people like Sheehan in the manner a baby treats a diaper.  'nuff said.

Like her or not, you have to commend Sheehan for her lack of hypocrisy.

I really don't know – Sheehan has fallen off the radar screen so long ago, that any of her actions are concidered more of the same, and not worth the time.

What radically unstable behavior have you shown us lately?

Sheehan has not so much fallen off the radar screen as was pushed off by the hypocritical members of the mainstream  media.

It seems she has become an "Inconvenient Truth" to the liberal press.

No, its not worth the time since the Dems have taken office.

Congrats to Sheehan for sticking to her guns regardless of the office makeup.

Funny, the worse American fatality counts is the beginning of the war and…….what………no annoying Glastonbury  sign bearing hypocrits???  Whatsamatter, don't want to help our soldiers heal any longer?  The healing should be so much better when the obama plan takes effect, won't it?
