America’s Best Loved Pitchaman, Billy Mays, Dead at 50

I loved this guy. Like so many, we could appreciate how good he was and how tough it is to make a sale in 60 seconds. Engaging, warm, friendly, he wouldn’t just make me want to buy … I wanted to invite him over for dinner. TV, for me, will never be the same. From TMZ

TMZ has confirmed TV pitchman Billy Mays was found dead today in his home in Tampa, Florida early this morning.

According to the Tampa PD, the 50-year-old TV pitchman was found unresponsive by his wife Deborah at 7:45 AM.

TMZ has learned Mays’ body has already been removed from his home.

Here’s a video appearance from Cavuto. Just great stuff.

And here is my post tribute to the TV huckstas. God bless him.

I was suprised and sadden to hear about the passing of Billy Mays. Here is a person who was not only sucessful in the business he was in, but he was one who for what he did, treated all those who viewed his brand commercials as if he was speaking to each of us directly.

Looks like the Obamacare cutoff for care will be 50 years old at this rate!

Man oh man, I am in a heap of trouble!

With Obamacare, we will all be in a heap of trouble no matter how old we are!
