A small piece of Obama’s plan

This item slipped under the radar this week.  It happened during the President’s bus tour through the Midwest, but before the President’s Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

On Tuesday, Mr. Obama announced efforts to boost small-business lending in rural areas. And his administration said it would spend up to $510 million to subsidize the production of biofuels not made from corn. [emphasis supplied]

I’m wondering if those funds will go to the only federally approved celluosic ethanol plant that shut down earlier this year “to work through technical snafus”?

But, as this may be part of the President’s secret plan to turn the economy around immediately that he will release in September, I would appreciate it if you keep this to yourselves.

I have a celluosic fuel still in my back yard made of 16 trash barrels, some tubing, an old car radiator, 300 baby bottles, an Evinrude outboard motor (propeller removed, must be safe, you know), an old Craftsman air compressor, and a pair of nail clippers.
    ?
Please send me the $510 million, Mr. president.

Mr. Obama will soon announce he has the philosopher’s stone and the debt problem is solved.? Then we can afford biofuels.

I have a PLAN!!!! Send me $510 million and I will work on my PLAN!!!! Please!!
Sure . . . somewhere I have heard that one. He has already spent a lot of our money on a biofuel plant to make non-corn based fuel with no results. How come private industry isn’t working on this problem as an R&D initiative without being funded by the government? Fool me once, . . .

Obama demanded instant results from the GOP during the “debt crisis,” but now is? taking weeks to come up with a “plan?” Guaranteed that the “plan” will be unworkable, cost billions of dollars and will make the GOP look like obstructionists. All so the democRATS can campaign for 2012 saying the Right is? unwilling to fund jobs!
Obama personifies the unctuous politician who shoots from the lip, says only what he thinks people want to hear, tailors his speeches for the crisis de jour,? flat-out lies, and is continually in campaign mode…

    To paraphrase Dennis Miller:
“To use an auto term, Mr. President, you have been driving around for two and a half years with the damn emergency brake on.? Don’t you see that light, take it off.? Tell Pelosi and Biden to turn their blinkers off while you’re at it”

I’d like to see Obama turn the thermostat off in the white house, get Michelle down to one or two assistants, combine trips on AF1, flush only after a deuce- not a single…?? Yes We Can!

It would be nice if BO lead by his own example for a change instead of taking whatever the office of the President offered and use it to the max! Then again and again.
I hear even Dems who are tired of the him.

How can turning food/cattle feed into a less efficient fuel (while simultaneously ruining engines and raising food prices) be a bad idea?
