A Gotcha Moment Gone Bad?

Over at CNN Wolf asks John McCain if he supports the President’s Status of Forced Agreement with Iraq which calls for troop withdrawals by 2011. Wolf asks do you back the Bush proposal. McCain not only handles what sounds like an attempt at a gotcha moment but turns it all back on Obama. Brilliant.

Did Wolf not know the details of the agreement or was he hoping to catch McCain off guard. Either way McCain came out strong.

That was beautiful, and captures McCain's ability to think on his feet. I would only disagree with McCain at the end of the clip, in that the reason this is not on the news is because it does not advantage Obama.

Blitzer is such an ineffectual tool for the left. He embarrasses himself.

Now if we could only get McCain to follow through with his pledge to "name names" on the economic debacle, a la Card's article, he would have an excellent shot at winning, since this is when people start to pay attention to the election.
