40 Days For Life

We’re about half way through the Catholic Church’s “40 Days For Life” event. Around the world people are praying and fasting for the unborn children and their mothers. It’s important to know this 40 days program is a peaceful time of prayer. No mothers are confronted, only reminded by the presence of people like you see here in downtown Hartford that these mothers do indeed have a choice.

40 days

That, in fact, is the subject of my interview with a dynamic guy, Mike Klinger, who represents the Wetherfield, CT Knights of Columbus. He and his friend Dan and two other women stood in the rain yesterday praying and holding their sign.

Listen to what Mike has to say about whether this quiet protest makes a difference … and listen to what he says to men everywhere. It is a powerful interview at the end!

THANK-YOU Jim and also THANK-YOU to Mike Klinger and his friends for taking time out of their day to pray for and witnessing for both God and for life. BTW, my parish community of St. Christopher's had its day to pray for life back on September 27th.:)=^..^=

Anne … you guys got it all kicked off and thank you too. It still is a very tough subject for people to deal with but as you know we try to give mothers and fathers courage to choose life. And you are one of those offering that courage and prayer. Thanks and God bless.

Thank You, Jim for covering Hartford's 40 Days!  Come and visit Norwich at 12 Case Street.  We are praying 24/7 during the 40 Days and this is our third 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil.  We must stop this senseless killing of our children!  Bless You for speaking for those that can't speak for themselves!
