I'll bet that's why keeping what you've got is an option...what politician wants to give up his excellent health care plan??? Difficult to get a doctor outside of the UConn system that accepts the plan due to the notoriously low payments. Why does anyone think that taking a system where there is a patient, insurance middle company, and medical service providers will improve when a government bureaucracy is added to the equation? This has been often difficult for me to fully understand and accept, but I keep trying. I never realized that, one day, I would have to surrender control over to my government. That, for me, is overwhelming. I don't understand much of anything about what is happening in our government today. But something seems clear ... the government is stealing control of my choices in life. And, admittedly, I have no idea what to do. So ... I worry.
