WTIC Salvation Army Holiday Store drive starts Dec. 11

This is the twentieth anniversary of the WTIC Holiday Store program, and we are asking for you to step up and donate just $20. If every person who listens to WTIC 1080 over the course of one week donated twenty dollars, we could raise nearly $4,000,000 for the Salvation Army! Are you up for the challenge?

help-fill-kettleThis year, we’ve made it even easier for readers and listeners to donate to the Holiday Store. Of course you’re invited to stop by one of the stores Monday through Saturday, but you can also donate online which only takes a few minutes and is super-convenient.

Twenty dollars for twenty years. We thank you for your continued support of the WTIC Holiday Stores to benefit the Salvation Army!

Holiday Store auction items
To make this year’s auction even bigger and better we have teamed up with Lux Bond and Green to pair incredible jewelry and gift items with one of a kind “experiences”. Things you can’t put a price tag on.

The experiences will include packages from the Boston Red Sox, UConn Athletics, Boston Celtics, Rock Cats Baseball, Wolf Pack Hockey and the TPC River Highlands. Listen live each day for information on these “priceless experiences” and a schedule for the auction.

What is needed
As always, we collect: non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys and monetary donations.
