Video of the Day: Would you let Casey Anthony babysit your kids?

No, that’s not a question for you, although it might be something you would want to consider, maybe. No this was a question put to Casey Anthony’s lawyer by Joy Behar. The whole thing is over at Hot Air but it was just too good for me not to repost. Ahh, the pause that refreshes.

I’m not a big fan of Joy Behar show, in fact I’ve never seen it, so I can’t tell you if it’s any good. But I can tell you it’s a doggone good question. Behar had Casey Anthony attorney Dorothy Clay Sims on as a guest and of all the questions I probably never would’ve  asked this was this one. Which tells you why I’m on radio and not on CNN. Enjoy my little mobsters I know I did

AP’s post at Hot Air is classic AP. Here’s a sample:

How often do you see a defense lawyer who got an obviously guilty client off — on two homicide charges involving a two-year-old child! — choke on camera when asked a question like this? You would think she’d lie through her teeth, if only to protect her own conscience: “Oh sure, I’d let her babysit. Ideally, Casey would be running her own day-care center.” Instead, this. How sure is Sims that she hasn’t sent a child-killer back into society? Not sure enough.

Amen.

It was good to see her squirm.
Another reason to believe Casey got away with murder,

Try this for a reasonable, honest answer.
?The trial, in the minds of the jury, did not prove Casey Anthony murdered her child. It did however prove she is a really incompetent mother with a disfunctional family. Just because a woman does not kill her 2 year old is no reason to want her to babysit your children.

I dislike Joy Behar4, but I have to give her credit for a pretty good zinger.

?I have no love for Joy,but like lawyers less. It appears this woman is near incompetent & only won because there was no case against her client.

This could be the only time I ever give credit to Joy Behar.

Casey Anthony is to taking care of your little daughter as Barack Obama is to taking care of your money!

Ouch, Shared Sacrifice! Please don’t insult Casey Anthony that way!

There are many many people that are not murderers that I would not let babysit my kids. She could just come out and say no and that doesn’t really mean anything.
This case is just disgusting how the media have convicted her when a jury of her peers did not. Maybe she is guilty and maybe she is not. She gets to walk and that’s just the way that it is. But it is disgusting how the media are just carrying on about this and putting this woman’s life in danger.
