How many more names need to be added to the list of those killed, raped or injured by those who come to our country illegally with total disregard for our laws from the minute they cross our borders?  As I've said 100x before (at least), this is not an issue of race. Let's  boycott the businesses that hire them.   I peek in the kitchens of my favorite restaurants to see if they are hiring only Americans. And I am not being racist when I ask my company to make sure our cleaning service is legal. Ask your supermarket or other big stores if their cleaning crew is legal. You can also talk to your neighbors about the people who are doing their yard work, collecting their trash  or repairing their masonry. Know somebody who rides horses at a stable? Ask them to switch stables if the work force isn't legal.  And with summer coming, you can make a statement and support local agriculture by buying local, especially if you know only legals planted, tended and picked the produce. Buying or building a new home? Check out the builder to make sure his crew and all the subs are legal. We can begin to address this problem in our backyards with a little effort.
