“Big Sugar” will be demonized much the same way as “Big Tobacco“. How long before we hear breathless congressional testimony describing how General Mills et al held meetings where they discussed ways to purposely manipulate the glucose levels of their products? Don’t forget the fact that they target our children with high-priced add campaigns designed to turn them into A.D.D. riddled sugar “addicts”! ( no, we won’t talk about the FDA’s complicity in this, after all, they were duped by those evil, Sugar lobby fat-cats)
I smell another tax coming.

Lest we forget: the EPA and environmentalists were all in full support of using MTBE as a fuel oxygenation additive (to burn cleaner), until they found out that the chemical fouled drinking water, even in impossibly tiny amounts. They dumped it for ethanol, which has its own share of problems.

Sometimes, good intentions aren’t enough: the long term implications of those intentions should also be considered. Politicians lack that part of the brain though.

I think that the FDA and Rich B. Should drop their case about the sugar content in our cerals! Folks, I think that they should ban the use of mercury in the VACINES that are produced, including the one for H1N1. We should stop manufacturing those curly light bulbs, because they are made with mercury as well. We should ban all products fron Foreign Countries that have lead pain on them! Some Dental Fillings have mercury in them, (Amalgems). Even Floride in toothpaste is poisinous to our Bodies, as well! I guess that the FDA and Rich B. are trying to combatant the Diabetes and Obesity problem in our Children. This is the Responsibility of the Parents, NOT THE FDA AND RICHARD B!

All of this just fits into the underlying belief of all liberals and socialists: you are too stupid to care for yourself, and Big Brutha’ has to make all your decisions for you.

Now we know why Blumenthal came out last week with his sneak attack on Fruit Loops. He is the one state AG most under the influence of Obama. If the Obama administration asked Blumenthal to sue a ham sandwich , he would put everything on it. Evil profits from Big Cereal feed my family. Profits are what put food on my table.
