The Daily Show – Marines in Berkley

Ever wonder what Code Pink protesters really think? Not often do you see reporters asking them questions on the nightly news, so I think it was a great idea for The Daily Show to visit Berkley and interview Code Pink protesters in front of the Berkley Marine Recruiting Center.

The Marines recruits who are about to volunteer in northern California should go to the Berkley office to sign up. This is just great promotion.

Look, The Daily Show is a comedy, but some of the answers to interview questions are just out-of-this-world. Ace and Hot Air have more.

Here’s a couple of excerpts.

Interviewer: If only there were an organization sworn to defend that free speech.
Code Pink Protester: That would be great [big smile].
Interviewer: That would be outstanding right?

and

Code Pink Protester 2: The Marines, we don’t need to be worrying about their rights. It’s not an equal relationship.

and

Code Pink Protester 1: Wars in general would stop if we did not have weapons, just like violence on our streets would stop if we didn’t have weapons.
Interviewer: So if we got rid of police we wouldn’t have crime?
Code Pink Protester 1: [Nodding head while thinking] Essentially.

This my friends, is the liberal wacko left, and I’m not quite certain why they get so much media coverage. Heck, maybe we should cover them more; they prove our points for us every time they speak.
