The Christmas story as told by children

Merry Christmas to all of you from the radio vice online bloggers. I thought I would give you an early Christmas present. Abig hat tip to Deacon Greg Kandra who posted this a couple weeks ago on the Patheos.com website. It really  is a great video and  it’s well worth the watch, and is really in keeping with the season.

Merry Christmas. I thought I would also take this opportunity to let you know I don’t seem to be healing as quickly as I or anyone would like. To speed things along we all have decided it would be a pretty good idea to take short leave of absence, so I’ll be gone for the next 3 weeks and hopefully heal alot faster.

But I also wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your prayers, they have worked beautifully and the Lord has heard them I can assure you. So from this point on no longer pray for me pray for all those people out there with no one to pray for them. Pray for grace for the people who don’t ask for them. Pray for the sick who have no one to pray for them, and the lonely and the brokenhearted.

The Lord already knows and has heard your prayers it’s in His hands. So as we celebrate this Christmas, make this a special occasion to pray formally to praise God and thank him for his Son.

Can I hear an Amen?  See you all in about 3 weeks, give or take.

Jim, you’ve got an “Amen” from me, too…but don’t expect me to stop praying for you, naaaah gadda haaaappen.? Rest up, heal as best you can and I wish you & yours a peaceful and blessed Christmas.? You’ll be missed greatly but out of sight will not be out of minds or hearts.? With love, Win

Thank-you Jim for presenting on the radio and in this blog your wonderful presentation on the very true meaning on the birth of the baby King of Kings, Jesus. The simple message of the “silence” of the holy infant is that God speaks best to us in both the silence and smallness of a little baby. Prayers Jim not only for you, but for your dear ones, the bloggers, their dear ones, the SOC Chat Room Community and their dear ones as well. God Bless and be with you Jim these next three weeks. Have a good and blessed Merry Christmas and a good and blessed 2012. :)=^..^=

    Jim,
Do what your doctor says.? Also, do yoga – limit it to what you can do.? It has helped my brother with his myasthenia gravis.?? He now flares up under stress more than he used to.? He then gets the mega doses of steroids – every other day – plus loads of Tums.? The yoga relaxes his muscles so he knows it’s relaxing his body and mind.
    ?
Will continue to keep you in our thoughts.

Jim, hope that Christmas was good for you. The kids love it and make sure to thank the Lord in Church, as God is the source of all good. Keep the faith, brother, as you will be sorely missed but eagerly awaited. We need you in the trenches; your insight and wit are constant. Heal, relax and get a tan. Play some, too. All is good for the spirit. dDo know that you are and will be in our prayers.

You never sounded better on the radio than you did yesterday. Just stay healthy and rest when needed.
