Summer of Recovery

Just two short years ago, seems longer to me, the Obama administration hailed
that it was to be “The Summer of Recovery”.   The stimulus bill was passed by congress, both the house and senate, of course it was alL under the control of the Democrats.

WILD and EXOTIC claims were made that this new law would spur the creation of
250,000 – 500,000 new jobs per month.   Vice President Joe Biden boldly  predicted this type of
job growth himself. Well it has been two years since the passage of the stimulus bill, and Americans are still waiting.

The economy created 77,000 jobs in April, and another 69,000 Jobs in May.  Lets put this into a bit of perspective. The average for these two months is 73,000 jobs divide that by 50 states and
on average 1,460 people were employed per state.

Connecticut’s unemployment rate using the U6 number currently stands at 14.8%

With about 27.6 million unemployed people in America, at the current job rates that
are reported monthly  it would take another 31 years to create enough jobs to hire
the those that are, want, desire, yearn for full time work.

As the Summer of 2012 rolls along, will the promises of “Hope and Change” and
“Yes we can”,  just turn to dust under the hot summer sun? Will anyone even remember? Will anyone care?

I very seriously doubt that they actually believed their wildly exaggerated projections even as they were making them.? Obama was caught on tape having a good chuckle at jobs not being as “shovel ready” as had been “expected”…. the manner in which this administration goes about pushing its poison pills strongly suggests they are fully aware of what effects they will have and the support they will not get.? For instance saying “You have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it”? as a part of the script when Obamacare was being rammed through says all that needs to be said about whether these characters are the least bit receptive to the needs of the private sector economy.? Approaching the issue on the premise that they are is just a way of stalling the implementation of real reforms and economic relief.

For many Americans, the Summer of 2012 is going to be the Summer of Discovery. They are going to discover the Democrats as their tormentor.
Aside from the sad sycophants who attend DNC Campaign productions, who would remember what a party apparatchik said? Every sentient being knows that politicians blather. And lie. Especially so with VP Joe.
VP Joe is a buffoon but, he is not amusing. He is the comic relief in a miserable Regime responsible for enduring, continuing national pain and humiliation. He is Obama’s court jester. Anyone who believes him is delusional and is most likely benefiting from a relationship with the Democrats.
“Hope and Change”? Hope under this Regime is forlorn. Change is a cry for just that, a change of party and, especially, a change of the president. Who will remember the Democrat’s perfidy? In November, true Americans are who will remember.

I just happened to listen to “Fool On The Hill” by The Beatles. They must have had VP Joe, the Dumber, in mind.

C’mon, aren’t there a few other fools on the HILL! How about Madame Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid, and crooks too like Rangl. Sorry, there is not enough room to list them all, I got carried away. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by leaving them out.
