Here’s the plan, Steve. California is bankrupt, so, Obama will offer the state billions to take the detainees. In Obama’s mind, this will accomplish 3 things. It closes Guantanamo, saves a “blue” state from fiscal implosion, and ensures Nancy Pelosi will not be re-elected.
