One has to believe that this (particularly if Hoffman wins), combined with the Tea Parties, is causing more than one sphincter to reflexively tighten up in the Democrat party. They will try to spin it in predictable ways, but the ones with brains know that this could signal serious problems for them in 2010.

Let us hope so.

Let me correct the last sentance Scozzafava dropping out reduces the chances of the court overturning a slim victory by Hoffman and appointing the democrat Ownes to office……This is a lesson to the Republican political esablishment to stop acting ashamed of conservative candidates. If the party machine has the courage to exercise enthusiastic support for strong american values, the people will forcefully respond even in the most navy blue states. Hoffman’s stunning rise in the polls proves it.

Michael Steele is Da Man ! I am sure Scofazza will get offers from Obama to be ice berg Czar. She should be treated very well by Repulbicans for making a sound political move. This whole abomination with healthcare bill HR3962 has finally proven to the RINOS what we conservatives have been sying all along. Democrats are the radical enemies of freedom and liberty. Being nice and cooperative with such a ruthless and immoral enemy gets you NOTHING in return. Not even the smallest crumbs were given to the republican ideas of health reform in this bill. I appreciate moderate republican desire to be gracious , conciliatory, and compromising but nobody likes a Quisling. These events have buried Newt’s hope for a Presidential. I hope he sticks to university lectures. Democrats can and will steal any major election that is within a 2000 vote margin of error. Scozzafava dropping out reduces the chances of the court overturing a slim victory by Owens and appointing the democrat to office.
