Scared? Maybe you have good reason. Take New Poll!

Running through last night’s video and I came across a continuing theme throughout … Democrats and RINOs trying to frighten America to death … a financial death of $1 Trillion dollars (pay no attention to the deal … it will be a trillion I can assure you).

Below you will find two videos … first the scare mongers

Now the voice of reason from two well respected economic pundits, Ben Stein and Dave Ramsey.

Even if you believe it will get worse (and that seems to be likely) the question you need to ask is … will this stimulus help the private sector where the jobs are lost … your job is lost … or just save public works jobs?

And what good is a public sector job without a healthy private sector … hmmmm? Just askin, that’s all.

Those on the left have hammered Bush un-mercifully for going into Iraq.  The Iraq war was debated for months.  Correct action or Incorrect action…..It was debated.

Two days in the Seante is not a debate.  The American people need to know exactly what the elected leaders are contemplaing doing.  I am an informed voter, most likely in the top 95 percentile on major issues.  I would think that our leaders would put forth more personal energy than Chris Murphy who DID NOT EVEN READ the bill before voting YES.  How many other memebers of Congress vote Blind, in line with Party Loyalty.  How about LOYALTY to the individual pople who will be stuck with this debt for generations.

Screaming immediate action, like was done for TARP, where only months later it was learned that the Treasury over spent $78 Billion,  is worthy of continued debate.  How about a Bill that meets the definition of Stimulas.  Pork is best served at a resturant, not Congress.

How about we leave up to the "free" market to fix itself, it has been doing so for a few months already (with excellent results?). Is it only the Liberals who vote legislators to Congress or are there Republicans/Conservatives who do that too. I did not vote Lieberman back to the Senate, but the Republicans/Conservatives did. And how much pork has he voted for?

Booga, booga!  If this bill is such a slam dunk, howsabout Reid, Pelosi, Obama and every other KoolAid drinker should GUARANTEE the results.

    Obama lied, capitalism died.

If this stimulus is such a great idea, shouldn't the democrats should want to own it totally, without Republican support?  Would the Democrats not then be able to take complete credit for our salvation?  Would their legacy then not be complete adulation and secure control of our government for all time?  Why would they want Republican approval and validation?

The Democrats only want cover and others to share the blame when the stimulus plan circles the bowl and disappears into the nether reaches of history.

Even if all the Republicans voted for it, you'd find something to complain about.

Fear is the great manipulator. This is the same BS that they pull all the time to rape an pillage your freedom and your pocketbook.   Remember this crap that the Bush admin spewed? "We don't want the smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud"  Then they pulled te same crap with the TARP (which they lied about) and now this crap.  This is a systematic dismantling of our financial system.  Unfortunately our only chance to stop it was in the last election, and I am not talking about voting for McCain. But we screwed up and elected these same corrupt thieves. Not sure if we can reverse this anymore.

Can’t argue w/ Erik’s logic. And I may add, I have no confidence in the “leadership” of Pelosi and Reid.

Just heard on Russ that the stimulus bill contains the United Kingdom type provision for rationed health care for the elderly.? They will get health care based on the cost of the procedure in proportion to how long they are expected to live!??? That has been sneaked into this bill, along with the 4.5 billion for ACORN!? Sneaky universal health care, here we come!
