Racist component to Brown win in Massachusetts

Why, tell me WHY do liberals and the bozos like Keith Olbermann feel the need to bring up racial tension when race has nothing to do with the subject? In this example, media-types infer there was a racist component to last night’s results.

Update: Now two examples of media-nuts…

Let’s see. Martha Coakley … white. Scott Brown … white. Voters in Massachusetts electing Scott Brown? They must be racist. Maybe I’m stretching here a bit, but there is such an obvious pattern with these liberals you can not ignore it.

And I apologize in advance for bringing you my second post in two days mentioning Olbermann. Heck, Jim even mentioned him in a post so we really owe readers an apology.

Hat tip to Morrissey at Hot Air, who references The College Politico.

Morrissey notes…

That’s not “a good question,” it’s a baldfaced smear on the people of Massachusetts.  They elect one Republican, and suddenly in Keith Olbermann’s eyes, everyone there wears a hood and burns crosses. It’s absurd, and Fineman should have said so immediately instead of playing along with Olbermann’s vicious fantasy world in which 201o Massachusetts has become 1966 Mississippi.

The transcript is over at Hot Air.

Second Example courtesy Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit who references Mediaite.

MSNBC again … commentator Donnie Deutsch thinks Massachusetts voters figured it was now OK go go and vote for a white guy again since President Obama is black and there have been female candidates.

We’re going back to basics, we’ve obviously had our first African American president we’ve had the female candidates and whatnot [and whatnot!] you look at him he looks like the candidate, the traditional view of the candidate, and is there a visceral comfort in that for people? I’m just curious from real kind of sociological point of view.

It is called "reflexive racism" and it is an act of last resort for liberals.  When they run out of arguments (usually about 1-2 layers down in a debate) or facts (rarely come in with any), they have to resort to ad hominem attacks to try and put their opponent on the defensive.  It is a cheesy debating tactic, and is a clear signal that they have lost the debate.

The lunatic is on the grass

The lunatic is on the grass

Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs

Got to keep the loonies on the path

The lunatic is in the hall

The lunatics are in my hall

The paper holds their folded faces to the floor

And every day the paper boy brings more

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon

And if there is no room upon the hill

And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too

I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

The lunatic is in my head

The lunatic is in my head

You raise the blade, you make the change

You re-arrange me 'till I'm sane

    You lock the door

    And throw away the key

There's someone in my head but it's not me.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear

You shout and no one seems to hear

And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes

I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
