ObamaCare Forevah!

Senator Jim DeMint has uncovered what may very well be the most outrageous aspect of a totally outrageous Health Care Bill. From Hot Air and Red State … Harry Reid has included a provision requiring a super majority in the Senate to amend any aspect or portion of ObamaCare. It’s a rule change tucked in legislation which makes it suspect to begin with and binds a future Congress to legislation that as DeMint says, may very well be unconstitutional. Not that that has stopped the Dems. The key portion begins at 6:00

My goodness. How can this happen? The Constitution does not matter to this Congress. I blame this national disaster on the people who put these people there.

The lefties complained that Bush "trampled the Constitution".   Well what they are doing is defecating on it.

Even worse, the so called watchmen of the Republic, the allegedly free press, has completely abandoned their responsibilities and what should be outrage.  Imagine if Bush or Newt had done this.

Someone on another station said that the press has abandoned the First Amendment and substituted the Fifth Amendment in its place.  Sounds to me like the Fourth Estate has become a de facto Fifth Column in our country.

Just a quick note: I saw my doctor for my yearly checkup yesterday, and he is absolutely livid about this health care "reform".  It was the first time I ever heard him swear!  Naturally, I joined in, but the point is, the doctors are not being consulted and they will be most affected.

The libs don't know, or more likely don't care, about what a can of worms they are opening.

Hey, two can play this game.  When the Republicans take back the Senate and House, just keep redefining those words over the squeals of the traitors until they take us back to Constitutional rule.  If they have the integrity and backbone to do it, the public would support them, I would think.

Both parties do play at this game, and we the people fall for it every time. If the Republicans truely upheld the Constitution, they would have lodged charges of treason on any member of Congress who threatened it.

Was it not a bipartisan vote the passed the Patriot Act which severely infringed on our privacy rights?  Was this not an unread 1000+ page debacle that was somehow thrown together within 2 months (hmm!) of 9/11?  And yet, when financial terrorism struck us last year, not one Congressman/woman pushed to enforce this law.

Is it only coincidence that in the wake of Katrina that guns were forcibly and unConstitutionally taken from law abiding gun owners without a peep from ANY politician?

We the people need to face the fact that we share ownership of this mess. Once we do this, we can begin to set things right.  And we must do this because the DC mob WILL NOT.

This proves what I have always known, the Left doesn't want to play by the rules,  they are luck the school yard bullies and just shove there agenda for socialist ideas down the rest of our throats.  Every time they get away with it a little more of our freedoms to Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness disapears, "My Goodness."   We all agree that there are people out there who need help with medical care, and the ones who really need can't get it because they are the proverbal few dollars over in income.  They need to put aside all the PAC's and work for the good of all.

Jim please check out this Cspan video from teusday Afternoon. Senator Craper of Delaware at the 33:00 time mark boasts how much money will be saved by denying medicine to genetically defective people. Open naked EUGENICS. Also Senator Craper talks about the "lean act" where insurance premiums will be micro managed to assult people's life style choices. Those topics start around 25:00 time mark of the video. .. .http://www.c-span.org/Watch/watch.aspx?MediaId=HP-A-27670…..If this bill passes,  China will have a right to lecture America on our human rights abuses. Chris Dodd belongs back with his father in Nuremburg, but this time as the defendant.

From the CBO on the 1994 attempt by Hillary and the lefties to take over American health care:

“The government has never required people to buy any good or service as a condition of lawful residence in the United States,” the CBO analysis said. “An individual mandate would have two features that, in combination, would make it unique. First, it would impose a duty on individuals as members of society. Second, it would require people to purchase a specific service that would be heavily regulated by the federal government.”

Hi, Jim : I have one question on the supposed "rule change"..mainly for your sister's, on the constitution. In the wording "cannot be challenged,or changed" be construed as to mean, a" takover of government"…which, under the constitution ,amounts to .

"treasonable  actions" committed by ALL who sign this into  law……..and thusly all be punishable.for treason…I believe this is a vaible "tack" to take against this bill.

{unfortunately I can only Listen to your show at work..keep it up..}thanks

    Bruce
