His campaign is replete with thugs … people who will use the law not to defend freedom but to punish dissent. Case in point … Missouri.

All the while, in St. Louis, local law-enforcement authorities, dominated by Democrat-party activists, were threatening libel prosecutions against Obama’s political opposition. County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, abetted by a local sheriff and encouraged by the Obama campaign, warned that members of the public who dared speak out against Obama during the campaign’s crucial final weeks would face criminal libel charges — if, in the judgment of these conflicted officials, such criticism of their champion was “false.”
If it were just one incident I would not be so bothered but whether it’s a coordinated attack by the Obama campaign on WGN radio in Chicago to block callers (twice), threatening the NRA with legal action if their ads were not pulled, or threatening dissenters in St Louis with jail, this crowd is starting to pxxx me off.

That column by Andrew McCarthy is excellent. It’s outrageous that a U.S. presidential candidate would so brazenly trample on the First Amendment. It’s even more infuriating that some willing accomplices are government officials who took an oath to protect our freedoms.
McCarthy also provides an articulate and sobering review (paragraph 5) of the many other compelling reasons why Obama is unworthy and unqualified to become the leader of this country and the FREE world.
