Why does any reasonable, sane person believe a word of what Obama says? Every promise or pledge has been broken without so much as a “how do you do?”.

As they say, anything he says has a shelf life that is shorter than that of a half gallon of milk sitting in the hot sun. Uncovered.

Joe Wilson was right on target and more right than he knew.

Few people want war and all it involves But, Al-Q’aida still exists and the adage “give an inch, they’ll take a mile,” applies. Like it or not, the reality is that when the U.S. is perceived as weak, then we are very vulnerable to attack.

To refresh our memories: when Bush attacked Iraq, and Korea and Iran thought they were next as the “Axis of evil,” both countries were practically falling over themselves to change their policies. Once they saw how “nice” we were in warfare, and stupidly allowed an insurgency to flourish, almost encouraging early rioting, this changed. “Shock and Awe” morophed into wimpiness. You can’t convert true evil. Lesson: if you go to war, do the job properly – go all out, or don’t go at all.
