Ah yes, come to Washington to give the government control of the banks. They already have an 80% stake of the largest insurance company. STATE RUN BUSINESS IS THE DEFINITION OF COMMUNISM. But this is different because it's good for us!!! Good grief.
This says "companies of the United States, do whatever the hell you want and if it is bad do it on a grand scale. If you did the right thing then you are PUNISHED." Poor example for us and our kids.
The free market will work itself out, let the banks fail, when you need to borrow money someone will fill the vacuum and lend the money. This is what free markets are all about. Maybe a NEW bank will open and borrow money from the fed and offer the loan, and be profitable, and NOT leverage themselves into oblivian.
