Mr. President, what is your belief?

Today, President Obama visited New Jersey. That was pretty much “ground zero” for Hurricane Sandy.  The President made several comments.  This was one.

We will not forget, we will follow up to make sure that you get all the help you need until you have rebuilt. [emphasis supplied]

You have rebuilt?

Not that long ago, the President said,

If you’ve got a business—you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. [emphasis supplied]

Given that statement, perhaps today the President should have said to businesses in New Jersey, “just hang around, and someone will rebuild your business  for you”.

Does anyone else see the inconsistency here, or is it just me?

He simply made a mistake SOS. My guess is there was no teleprompter to guide his words. So he winged it and had the people of NJ thinking for a minute they were going to be doing it. They will all come to their senses soon enough. Unlessssssssssss————-November alters reality and they actually do rebuild themselves.

I think I saw a teleprompter at the Red Cross rally.
Oh – this is delish!? Our doctor complained about the electronic medical records system:? too much time with a laptop between doctor and patient.? Then, I read an article about boutique medical practices – you pay to play.? The article reported that the EMS (or EMR) was a product of Obmacare.? Doctors would be given $44,000 by the feds?to pay for the change over.? It was NOT mandatory.? However – if a doctor declined, then he needed to know that the amount of gov. reimbursement would be less, much less.? Hobson’s choice!
We received a phone call from my husband’s doctor requesting that he bring a form of ID, his medical insurance forms plus a list of all his meds to his next visit so he could be entered into the system.? Then, I began to think……. Oh, my goodness!? Where is the outrage?? This means suppression of not voter participation but of medical participation.? Those without a form of ID will now be forbidden to receive medical help!!!!? What irony?? Hypocracy?? Plus my cousin has been receiving treatments 2 time per week for the past 4 weeks – and she must show her ID at every appointment!!!!? Even though she knows the staff well by now!!? When my husband went…

Hey Linda?? ——————-we voted this in————–Congress———-senate—————-President.? Takes all 3.? We can’t undo it because we live in a true blue state. Well for now. When my wife retires there are a lot of states that actually look at the candidates rather than what handouts they are giving out.

Ha, Ha, Ha, thanks for the laugh, SOS. Yes, I see inconsistancy here!

  5. sammy22 on October 31, 2012 at 9:23 pm

    This post is pathetic, SOS.

    • Dimsdale on November 2, 2012 at 8:54 am

Not nearly as pathetic as the swooning the press does because ?bama took a plane ride and promised to cut the red tape: tacit admission that government normally just gets in the way of a job getting done expediently, inexpensively and efficiently.
      ?
I am sure you are proud of your guy in his shiny new “Commander in Chief” bomber jacket.? Too bad the only thing that got bombed was the economy!

Is it as pathetic as the union goons turning away utility worker help down in NJ simply because the help wasnt Union help?
I’d ask the poor folks directly affected without power down there, but they have no connectivity!?
We’re all still waiting for some semblance of a good argument from you instead of name calling, Sammy.

Onliest thing to do is to buy our Prevaricator-In-Chief a bus ticket back to Chicago. Soonist!

“Inconsistency” is the watchword of the Administration.? President sailed in, hugs all around, looked important, now comes the crunch.? Given past history of abandonning Americans and those who have served the US interests?(ie. Libya, and that poor Dr. in Pakistan who helped get Bin Laden) hope those suffering on the east coast realize they’ll have to BUILD IT themselves.??

As an additional comment,?western countries have become so dependent on modern conveniences, so used to instant solutions, that this kind of deprivation is going to bring out the worst in some people.? My guess is older?folks (who didn’t grow up with technological “miracles” of civilization, and have more of a moral upbringing) will do far better than the younger generation.??

You are so right. Starting with us “baby boomers” we have difficulty going without electricity for doing dishes, washing clothes and using microwaves. But going without cell phones and internet is making the younger stress out to the max!

I need only be proud, Dims and yeah, of what Gov. Chris Christie had to say.

    • Dimsdale on November 2, 2012 at 3:09 pm

Christie was talking about about 10 minutes of the exalted ?ne’s term in office.? But if you were talking about all the other things he has said, then I agree.

Are we supposed to bow to “the one” for actually doing his job for half a day.? Remember, afterwards it was off to Las Vegas, that evil town, to campaign still.? While folks in NY are dumpster diving for some food but I’m sure Obama is doing just fine so no need to worry.

  10. PatRiot on November 4, 2012 at 3:05 pm

There is no inconsistency.? It is Obama’s belief that no one can, or should be able to succeed without Government’s help.?
Change the emphasis to ?we will follow up to make sure you get all the help you need? and you can see it.?
Offering government help will ensure that this part of the country can never again say “we built this on our own”. ????
It is the non-common sense ideologies such as this from ego maniacal, power hungry, brats whom think they are better, and those whom enable them, that hurts this nation.? To call them elites would only enable or…

    • PatRiot on November 4, 2012 at 3:07 pm

      embolden them more.
Obama and his fellow idealogs will not offer help without strings or binders attached, even if it someone else?s, the taxpayers, money. ?It is not in their nature.? ?And that is not representative of the America I know or want.
Is this what Obama meant by saying the he will fundamentally change America?
