Monday (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri) morning call to action – Stop current health care legislation

Some Democrats claim health care legislation will be passed by the end of this week, some insist there are not enough votes. Either way, this week will be another make-it or break-it week for Democrats. We must succeed in stopping this terrible legislation. So what can you do starting Monday morning? It’s so easy, why even a troglodyte can do it. And we have the contacts no matter where you live. Call to Action – Step One: Contact your local Congressperson and the Blue Dog Democrats by sending them an e-mail, with just one click. Click Here to send an e-mail to all of them with just one form. No matter where you are listening, no matter what state you live in, this form will send your e-mail to your specific Congressperson. Call to Action- Step Two: Call, call, call your Congressperson and Senators and politely ask them not to support the current federal health care legislation. Remember, nobody who wants this legislation passed is providing any details on how this plan will streamline services, improve quality and lower health care costs. You can find your their numbers by clicking on Contact Local Officials in our main menu. Call to Action Step Three: Contact your state governor and ensure they get the message … you want the federal government to stop taking more and more power from the states and the people. The states have been hooked on federal hand-outs for years and it must stop. Demand your state’s governor read and understand the 10th Amendment of the United States Constitutions. Ignoring this amendment is the disease people!

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Call to Action – Step Four: Call the Blue Dogs if you can. We know you can not call every representative and encourage them to vote no. We also know it’s not easy for you to find contact information for representatives and senators outside your home state, so listed is our Health Care Top 12 for Monday (below) we’d like you to contact. Don’t let them ignore you if you are out of their district. It’s simple, if they want to wield the unconstitutional powers that can destroy health care and our economy, you have the right to contact every single representative and senator. Health Care Top 12 for Monday Unfortunately, you will find it difficult to send e-mail to representatives in Congress unless you are in their district. They don’t want to hear from you if you can not vote for them. Stand firm, if they want to destroy health care and our economy you must be heard! A significant development this weekend was the nun Carol Keehan , head of the CHA and friend of  Ted Kennedy, endorsing Obamacare while  dismissing and lying about the public funding of abortion it contains. This seems to have provoked the Catholic Bishops to finally come out from behind the curtain and make a STRONG public statement. They  not only condemn Obamacare but have asked all good Catholcis to CALL their representatives to express opposition. I take offense at  how Obama is hijacking  the emotional issue of  healthcare to  wage a back handed  jihad of heresy  against a Church that holds life to be sacred.

It must really stink being a representative from Connecticut right now. If you vote against the health care bill, the people you work for; Obama, Pelosi and Clyburn won't do anything for you in the future. If you vote for the bill, you're out of a job next November.

I really feel sorry for Larsen, Courtney DeLauro, Murphy and Himes…NOT!

Apparently, the blue dog mailbox is full. At any rate, my morning reminder was returned with a failure notice.

Mine was also returned. The Action Army "Thank you for  registering" e-mail says that I can expect updates from them on health care. That's nice, but no thanks. How do I unsubscribe? There is no contact info on the site and my reply to their e-mail came back too. I've looked at the NCPA site, but can't find where I opt out. Any ideas?
