Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Each year we look forward to spending time with family and friends to celebrate Christmas, remember those who may not be as fortunate, and especially remember those service members who are away from home, protecting our home. So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us to you! Thank you for making Radio Vice Online and Sound Off Connecticut a part of your life this year. We’re not quite certain we deserve all of the attention, but I can tell you we are quite humbled by it.

We hope that you’re able to take some time to reflect on the past year, and look toward the future with family and friends. That’s what we plan on doing for the next couple of days, so you won’t see too much blogging from us until Saturday morning.

Salvation Army Holiday Store update
From WTIC.com

The WTIC Salvation Army Holiday Stores wrapped up their 20th year at noontime Christmas Eve. With some donations still being counted, the campaign ended up at $187,297,  more than $6,000 over last years goal.

Thanks to all who helped!

Track Santa with NORAD’s help!
This has always been lots of fun. Jump online with the kids and track Santa as he crosses the globe visiting families – and those away from home – dropping off holiday cheer. Recently, Santa just left South Africa as he works his way west towards America. Click here to track Santa. (Looking for a way to ensure the kids get to sleep at a reasonable time tonight, this will do the trick!)
